Privacy Policy

The short version
SizeSide is a free tool that runs in your browser. The names and heights you type into the comparison are processed on your device. They are not sent to our servers, and we do not have accounts or logins.
What stays on your device
Everything you enter into the tool stays in your browser. If you press Copy link, the link contains the names and heights in the part of the address after the # sign. Whoever you share that link with can see them. Browsers do not send that part of the address to the website.
What we and our providers collect
- Hosting logs. Our host, Cloudflare, processes standard request data such as IP address, browser type and the page requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
- Analytics. If we turn on Google Analytics, it uses cookies or similar technology to count visits and see which pages are useful. This data is aggregated.
- Advertising. If we show ads through Google AdSense, Google and its partners may use cookies to show and measure ads, including ads based on your earlier visits. You can manage this at adssettings.google.com or learn more at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
Support links
The site links to a Buy Me a Coffee page where you can choose to support us. That page is run by Buy Me a Coffee and has its own privacy policy. We do not receive your payment details.
Cookies and consent
Where the law requires it, for example in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, we ask for your consent before analytics or advertising cookies are used. You can change or withdraw consent at any time through the consent tool on the site, or by clearing cookies in your browser.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Because the tool does not store your entries, there is usually nothing to retrieve from us. To make a request about data held by us or our providers, write to hello@sizeside.com.
Children
SizeSide is a general-audience tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
